With twelve or more uses and an interesting backstory, Egyptian Magic came to be when LordPharaoh ImHotepAmonRa (previously known as Westley Howard, a water filter salesman) met a mysterious elderly man at a diner in Chicago in 1986. “He said to me, ‘brother, the spirit has moved me to reveal something to you.' It didn’t seem too weird to me. I’m a spiritual person, so these things happen to me all the time”.
Read MoreThat elderly man, known only as Dr. Imas, periodically visited Howard in Washington over the next two years and showed him how to make a skin cream from olive oil, beeswax, bee pollen, royal jelly and bee propolis (a substance that seals hives). He claimed it was exactly the same formula for a hand cream found in Egyptian tombs, which was revealed to him the same way it was to Howard. It rolled out by word of mouth only but quickly took off thanks to Hollywood catching on. It wasn’t long before the multi-purpose formula had an army of fans.
