Founder Lexi is a force. She was on a vacay and had been gifted a robe to use poolside. For whatever reason (we’ve all been there) she had to use a corner of the robe to remove her makeup. Impressed, she clung to that robe and used a different section each night until she had a brainwave; “I hadn’t purchased a single makeup remover in almost a year" said Lexi. She cut the remainder of the robe into squares and started handing it to friends and family to try it out – it was a triumph.

The result was a perfect blend of a premium, antibacterial polyester that contains millions of tiny hair-like fibres that work as a suction cup to pull all makeup out of the skin. After the brand launched the first ever MakeUp Erasers were being hand cut and sewn by Lexi's grandmother in their hometown of Washington, USA. The company still remains a family-oriented business with Lexi, husband Daniel, sister Shiianna and mum Tanya still running the show.
