Sentences like these catapult Sarah Sklavenitis, self-confessed hand-washer, into a far cooler realm than the rest of us.
What we mean by that, is any other hotshot beauty brand creator could have warbled on about a lack of indulgent and effective body skincare on the market, given half a chance. But not Sklavenitis. Mostly, because she’s as real as they come.
“Messiah and Eve Body Cleanser 01 and 02 are priced £21 for 300ml. Add your own favourite coffee,” she adds with a smile.
Messiah and Eve is the brand new, modern, luxe body-care brand that everyone is talking about. Put simply, the name means: indulgent and effective skincare with a catch – from the neck down.
After what felt like a lifetime search for body products that smelled great, lasted and delivered on results, Sklavenitis founded Messiah and Eve in 2019. Two years in the making, her aim was to provide a lifeline for all those hunting for ways to treat everything below the chin line with the same care and attention as above.
Upping the game on body care, she is unapologetically herself and has some pretty high expectations when it comes to fragrance.
“I am so proud of Messiah and Eve, which was named for new beginnings, and for my mother. It is beautifully functional, efficacious, attainable, and consciously designed, – and it smells absolutely incredible.” she added.
Sklavenitis believed in using affordable luxuries in a bid to move our day towards a pleasing journey of constant, thoughtful consideration. Two years of intensive product and fragrance development, the range has finally come to market. And what a range it is.
Messiah and Eve‘s products combine premium skincare ingredients that are normally reserved for the face. Think niacinamide and AHAs (to gently exfoliate), and squalane and prebiotics (to nourish, protect and repair). There are body cleansers, body creams, and a bath oil emulsion, all which provide unadulterated indulgent, results-driven body care.
“I’ve always sought a relatively affordable, but luxury and aesthetically-pleasing body and bathroom collection that met my own expectations of performance and design, whilst caring about both our skin, and our planet in equal measure,” said Sklavenitis.
The Messiah and Eve philosophy is centered around good skin days not only being reserved for your face. The result is an elevated daily body care plan, focused on essential ingredients for nourished, healthier skin and bespoke fine fragrance blends.
Messiah and Eve’s products blend a sophisticated mix of fine French fragrances, essential oils and botanicals, including delicious notes of spicy black pepper, blackberry, bergamot, vetiver and verbena, – designed to last on your skin, – creating a luxury, modern take on body care that works.
Sarah Sklavenitis — shower time has never felt so good.
